Love and Compassion feel that along with legal reform there should be prison reform. As a nation, we should be incarcerating dangerous criminals and providing justice for victims. Our police should be held to a high standard for a better sense of fairness. Where our government can help, we will. Alternative sentencing should be encouraged to lighten our prison population and to not expose a small-time offender to a more dangerous criminal element.
