Love and Compassion believe in a strong national recycling program. We don't want to totally get rid of plastic; we want to find higher uses for plastic like housing and machinery. Plastic that will last longer and not poison the environment and can be reclaimed cleanly. Meanwhile, increase the use of reusable items like canvas cloth bags and paper items that can be recycled.
